PROJECTS
N2 Mhlali River Bridge

The repair and jacking of the Mhlali River Bridge (North-bound) into its original position, and to repair the bridge approaches after the April 2022 floods. Currently the north-bound traffic is diverted before the bridge repair onto the south-bound lanes and diverted back to the north-bound lanes after the bridge repair. These delays currently cause frustration amongst road users and commuters in both directions over this 3km stretch on the N2 freeway.
