Professional Services to Compile the Supply Chain Management Policy for the Standard for Infrastructure Procurement and Delivery Management and Adhoc Technical Support. Establish the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport’s policy for infrastructure delivery management in accordance with the provisions of the regulatory frameworks for procurement and supply chain management. Including the procurement of goods and services necessary for a new facility to be occupied and used as a functional entity.

The project involves the review of the IDMS framework that was developed during the year 2012 and signed off by a limited number of departments. IDMS has since evolved as a programme and now requires compliance and participation from all sectors of government departments that are allocated infrastructure budgets in the Province. The legislative landscape has also changed since the signing of this framework and this project intends to incorporate as far as possible, all relevant legislative developments and initiatives that affect infrastructure service delivery in the Province.
