• Understand what LIC is 
• Understand the principles which underpin effective implementation 
• Understand the legislation and guidelines which support LIC 
• Understand the relationship between LIC and EPWP 
• Incorporate these principles into design and specifications 
• Estimate the jobs which may be created through a project

• Previous experience in the construction industry  
• Technical qualification in the Built Environment 
• FETC Certificate
